Once again I am feeling shug and once again it's Gareth's fault! Well I'm blaming Gareth.

Not content with the wrap party we decided to have a few after-work drinks last night. Only some of us could make it. Ross was working, Angela was skint and the rest just plain didn't want to go, lol.

So me, Jen, Gareth, Chris, David, Scott, Rachel and Ali all went for some cheap £1.20 drinks in Bunker. Chris had to go see X-Men 3 with a mate who had booked the tickets so he left early and couldn't reach us when he came out so went home and missed the rest of the night, bummer!

Rachel had a meal to go to or something and had to elave early but the rest of us had quite a few and Jen and me got a hamburger supper each and the last train home!

So thats why i am feeling rather shug. We also discussed the fact that ore shots will need redone and Scott give me some good advice about Business Gateway and funding for the Vampire Movie.

Oh Lord I am feeling rather shug this morning.

Last night was the wrap party. Let me begin though a ferw days ago when I went shopping for holiday clothes and got a holiday bonus in my wages and went to see "Da Vinci Code" (thursday night and it is ugdoo, which means shit or poop) and X Men 3 (friday night with Ballys and Jane and that was OK. Then Saturday was so-so and then we went to The Primary. Angela, Gareth and Hannah were already there. Wasn't long before Ross, David, Rachel and Jennifer McC showed up and the drinks started flowing. A good night was had by all and we were all very drunk. Shona kept telling us that she and Jen were "tight as tigers", Shona tigers are solitary animals who hunt alone. So that's a bad allegory, lol. Anyway we headed to Buffalo Joes after we convinced Hannah to get changed and join us and we got in on the guest list. Man I feel special. it was jumping in there and I'm pretty I danced - badly - a lot...

Anyway Chris dissapeared, after he got us into the VIP room. It transpires he was asked to leave by the bouncer as he apparently was fighting in there last week! Filming not fighting you muppet! Hee hee I now have an image of "Benny" (chris) in his superman pants beating up neds in buffalo joes while dancing to "The Hustle". Anyway then Hannah and Rach left and there was some drama with inter-cast relationships, it's all very "O.C" and David and Angela left and then at closing time, myself and Jen got our coats and a chippy and left and waited outside for my bro and Jazman. We also managed to find Cat and Gareth who went back to G-Man's place with Shona to get a taxi I think. Jennifer went somewhere too and we found Ross who went to his mates and then Jaz went off with his cuz and me Jen and Rusty (steve, my bro) went to George Sq for a taxi and got home as it was getting light and now Im very shug and I really need an omiyug about now. , so chow mon freres.

Hello

Been a while. Anyway I have been busy editing. I'm getting there. I've been busy going deaf in one ear, what the fuck is that all about?!? Saturday night at Gareth's was cool. Had a few beers with the G-Man, David, Catriona, Jen and Scott and his girlfriend, whose name I think is Karen? Could be wrong I was drinking. Anyway I showed em my old short films and we decided not to get last train home and to stay all night. We crashed the party upstairs and sent Jen and Cat for drink and eventually when they returned about an hour later (the pub is at the end of the street but they ended up the opposite direction?) With beer and my money unspent, I was a little curious. Turns out they took the beer from some guy who they told to come to the party and when he turned up later, me and Big G were gonna take out the trash, lol! Anyway Jen got a lil bit tipsy on woffie and crashed and me soon after but not before David broke Gareths g string, I mean guitar string. Then I woke up and rushed to the toilet to relieve myself only to find no toilet roll! Agh! Got home about 12:30 with a Burger King and slept until about 5pm. Then watched "Roadkill" as part of me and Jen's "educate ourselves about the dangers of roadtrips before going across america's south on one ourselves programme".

Anyway onto the last day of filming. We met at 8 in the am at St Enoch Square and they knew we were coming cos they had roadworks going on, an army band setting up, a van parked in our spot and a fire engine later arrived so we packed that in and went to do the wedding scene, with a dress provided by our actress'slash'costume provider'slash'alround good person to know ALI, (ahem, enough yet, Ali?) Although she didn't actually own the dress, she's not married fellas but you never know when your window of opportunity will expire so send your numbers onto me and Ill send em on OK, I can't promise she'll look at them if you're ugly though. So some passers by thought Rachel looked lovely in her dress it's a shame they said that we hadn't made more of an effort to dress up for her though, lol.

We moved to Buffalo Joes and I saw the funniest performance ever on screen, Chris is superman y-fronts and trainers and a smile dancing to that "pumping for love" song. What a sport he is. We then stood in the rain (I say we, I mean Ross, Rachel and me) at Bellgrove Station for ages to get the ending shot and then finally did our last stuff in the college stairway and exterior before going for a end of shoot drink with Ross, Chris, Gareth, David and Jen and discussing Top 3 Brunettes, Top 3 Blondes of all time, Top 3 hot Singers and Top 3 hot actresses. Jen had a few suggestions herself.

For the record its A) Jennifer Connely, Eva Longoria and Kate Beckinsale. B) Britney (when she was hot), Jessica Alba and Scarlett Johansson (at the moment). C) Britney, Jessica Simpson (I know shes thick), Cheryl Tweedy D) Jessica Alba, Rachel BIlson and Jennifer (my Jen I mean, cos Im suckin up lol)

And to show I aint sexist I can even list the top 3 guys (not who I think are hot cos i couldt name one but who i wouldnt mind looking like or give much respect too)

George Clooney, Ben Affleck and BRad Pitt. all three good actors and men's men lol!

Ok, this is nothing to do with pondlife but I have to talk about this movie.

"BRICK"

Go see it - shuttup Jen (dont hit me) - This film is so cool and wahts so cool is that if you go to the message boards about it, the director will talk to you about the movie as do the cast and they answered all my technical questions about how they did certain shots and effects etc. So rush out and watch it, it's a bit hard tow atch at first with their own language sorta thing they have going but its cool. I mean here are some cool lines from it...

"I got all five senses and I slept last night which makes me 5 up on all of you"

"Which wall is the door"

"I set out to find who put her there, who put her in front of the gun"

"you got a discipline problem with me, write me up or suspend me"

now consider that this based in a high school. The film is also beautifully shot and makes me jealous, "Pondlife" is a quickly shot comedy that as we were doing it on DV and arty shots would look daft, so editing it now it annoys me that i cant do any of the stuff i saw in "brick" with it. :(

Anyway go see it, damn you vile woman!

God it's been a while hasn't it. Sorry. I've been quite busy. My Gran passed last monday so the funeral was saturday and my bro was trying to get home from being at sea to go but because of low tide he didnt get home til monday there (8th). That sucked. Anyway funeral over, goodbyes said, I had a drink with my sister and her boyfriend and watched "Deal, No Deal" which they introduced me to. That programme rocks! I'm now officially an addict. THen me and Jen had a fight and then made up and went to see M:I3 (mission impossible 3, david). What a film, the best one so far (not so hard you say, yeah yeah) but even Jen loved it. It had everything. THen on sunday I finally got AVID to work and started editing the sin city scene, I need to fix the sound but it looks good. Then sunday night we went to see "The Magician", which starts slowly but is quite good once it gets going, quite strangely funny. I recomend both. On monday I went to work (oh joy) and then welcomed my bro home and edited a few more scenes and watched Prison break. Tuesday, more work, more joy :( and then decided not to go watch Man U v Celtic at Leigh's as Stephen clogged the bath with hair (he shaved his head), so I couldn't have a shower (I wasnt standing in that) and so I edited the scene outside HMV and the scenes inside HMV and discovered a lot of boom mics in shot! Argh! Fear not i fixed it with a little bit of editing. OH I forgot to say I edited the Tearoom scene and the riverclyde scene on tuesday. Just rough edits mind, Im not sure itll be ready for a showing before I go to America but Ill do my best. I finished the 1st draft of the "vampire script" and now Im at work, it's Wednesday. I'm meeting the guy from Kontakt on friday to discuss the music for "PondLife" and I'm going to see a sneak preview screening of "Brick" tonight, which looks shit hot.

Wrap weekend didn't go quite as well as we hoped. Friday night we missed G's party as we realised we would have to get the last train home and thats when the party would just be starting so instead we visited my Gran and then ended up colouring in a banner for my Aunt's 49th Birthday party. What a night of excitement, lol. Saturday was smooth enough we managed to get everything done at Bola before 12 and then got some funny stuff for the boot scene. We thee went to my work where we did the quotes and voiceovers. An extremely funny interview with Chris in full "Scream" outfit and a hilarious DVD extra where the guys do a scene in different accents. Then we went back to Coatbridge with Ross and got the stuff at Mum's and mine. Visited Gran and spent an hour at the 49th party before dropping Mum off and going to Ballys' and Jane's for a drink and then got a kebab and went home.

Sunday was a nightmare. We got the donkey punch and thundercats scene then went to Buffalo Joes where some jumped up tart of a dancer tried to tell us we couldn't get in. Then she ignores me after letting us in. We manage to film Jennifer McC's dance and then the ignorant bitch tells us we have to go. So we never got the stuff we need and will have to go back (after having paid a fortune for the equipment this weekend as its a holiday weekend and we have it for 3 days, one of which we cant film on anyway). Then we sat in Yate's with Ross and waited til rachel was due to arrive for her scene. Celtic got beaten 3-0 by Hearts (what the fuck!). We went to the station and after two shots (one good/one bad) we were asked to leave. So then Ross n Rach went off and me n Jen decided to go straight to the pics. Nothing started for an hour so we went to the pub got a coke and waited then went back for tickets and realised i didnt have my card with me to get free tickets and with no cash left we went home and fell asleep to My Name is Earl and Two Guys and a Girl. Eef what a day!
